Ever since I can remember, I’ve wanted to be clever. Some people are born clever, same way some people are born beautiful. I’m not one of those people.

Anonymous: hiya, it's the sharpening anon again. I actually use the same measurements for 10-gif sets (245x140), then color, then sharpen. I have cs6, and when I click on smart sharpen, it has a couple other adjustments in the box, too (I think one if them is shadows... sorry, I'm not on my computer). my settings are usually 500% and 0.3. to make the gif, I use 'import frames to layers'. if you can't help that's totally fine, I just noticed how lovely your gifs come out, including sharpening!! thanks xx

Oh! I see the what the problem is now. We’ll use Mark Wahlberg for this example. (I use cs5 but I am pretty sure cs6 and cs5 still some what work the same)

500%:

See how Mark’s face just looks too sharpen? Almost like a painting.

This looks a bit more better!

Once that small change is done to your action next I’d make my psd for my gif. If you don’t make psd’s you can easily get one from itsphotoshop or yeahps. After that and ba da boom!

Also just in case I don’t know if you do this or not but before you import your frames into layers make sure to put your gifs in timeline form first by pressing this little button here:

It’ll make sure all your gifs are sharpen. I hope I wasn’t too bad at explaining and that this helped! Thank you for the compliment by the way you’re very sweet! :)

Anonymous: random question, sorry. but i was wondering, do you sharpen your gifs before or after resizing? because i've always done it after, but they come out weird looking in a way i can't really describe. like, reduce noise is on 0%, but it still kind of takes away details, i guess? idk idk

No need to apologize. That is very strange because I sharpen my gifs after I resize them as well. Perhaps it’s the size you are setting your gifs at? Usually when I make a 6 set of gifs I set my gifs at a width of 245px and a height of 145px for 8 or 10 sets of gifs I still keep the width at 245px but make the height 140px or sometimes even 135px if resizing is the case than try these settings if not message me again and I’ll see what further help I can assist you with. :)

I saw Leo the other day. I was at a party for Quills. Me and Jim were leaning up against the bar and this posse of boys came in wearing masks and Halloween gear. I recognised him from the way he walked. He ripped his mask off. He hadn’t changed a bit. Of course, he’s famous, one of the most famous actors in the world. But he’s the same person and I’d been so worried about him. He still does care about everything he does. He hasn’t just become some bullshit film star - Kate

Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you’re crazy to make an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us - in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal. Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club.

Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards. I’m a lover, I’m a fighter, I’m a UDT Navy SEAL diver. I’ll wine, dine, intertwine, and sneak out the back door when the refueling is done. So if you’re feeling froggy, then you better jump, because this frogman’s been there, done that and is going back for more. Cheers boys.
